The Boy's have been so excited to go to the pumpkin patch this year. I am sure that the Little Boy's don't remember it from last year, but Caleb sure did. And they all feed off each others excitement about the big day. The farm that we went to last year wasn't open this year, so we tried another place... Big Red Farms was lots of fun, and the pumpkins were a huge hit. I told the boys that they all got to pick their very own pumpkin, which they were really excited about. I was actually surprised at how quickly they all gravitated towards their specific pumpkin. For each of them, it was love at first sight. They knew right away that it was "The One". And they still know which is theirs out on the lanai, waiting to be carved. Their ages are so much fun. Everything is magical and exciting, and they make it so for their Mommy and Daddy, too.

Family
The boys have these little "color bears" that we use for color games, and learning simple math concepts. Noah had been playing with several of them one day, and showed Matt his creation. My heart melted when Matt showed me this picture he took of what Noah had made on the book shelf in front of a picture of Matt and me.
Notice the number of bears? Notice the size?
Noah is 2 years old.
These boys never cease to amaze me.

Daddy's Little Helpers
As Matt was replacing the transition strip between the kitchen and dining room, Jonah and Noah saw a great opportunity to help Daddy. This is a developmental stage that has come on with full force! The boys love to be just like their Daddy, and say proudly "Helpin' Daddy!"
