The boys are always pointing out on anything they see on T.V. or videos where there is a princess, or fairy or anything like that, saying it's "Just like Mama"... Not sure why... It did concern me a bit when they saw a "princess" add for a video where she was decked out in princess wear, singing and dancing and attracting all the animals of the forest, and Noah said "Wow. That's just like my Mama." What?! What are they seeing me do?! I can't think of a single thing I have done to give them that impression. But for the most part, I think it's precious, and ridiculously charming. Like this morning, when I overheard...

Caleb (6): That is Beauuutiful, just like my Mama. And that one's cute. Just like me.

Be still my heart.

Brotherly Indifference

This morning, while picking a Saturday morning video:
Noah (3): I DON'T LIKE WALL-E!
Jonah (3): Well, Noah... I don't care.

Downside Of Having A Mom That Runs,

And a Dad that does not...

Noah (3): Boys don't run, Mom. Only girls can run.

Remembering Missoula...(and trying to get photos off the Internet...)

So, this is me... trying to figure out a way to get these photos off the Internet without having to pay the ridiculous prices for the prints... These are of Emily and I running, and FINISHING, our first Marathon in Missoula last Summer, 2009. I know, it may be a bit redundant. But, again, it's just me trying to pilfer the photos. I hope you enjoy it half as much as I do. It was an amazing experience. One I will surely never forget.

Crossing the Finish Line... Jim (74 YEARS YOUNG!), me and Emily... I adore you, Em.
Huffing along under the bridge... I think this went under a freeway... I think.

It really was a beautiful 26.2 miles.

Awww... Weeks of training all leading up to this glorious day!
