One of my closest friends, Tami, and her husband and daughter drove out from Portland for a visit this week. Their beautiful daughter, Laura (2 1/2), was just a delight! We enjoyed catching up, though this is never hard, as it seems that no matter how much time has past, we just seem to pick up where we left of. The three days were filled with fun at the the local aquatic center, late night chats, and Matt and Tommy enjoying a little golf together. It was great. I am so thankful for your friendship, Tami, and it meant so much to me to have you come and visit our home. The last 16 years of friendship have been a blessing to me, and I look forward to many more!

Operation Challenge
We started taking Caleb to Horse Therapy every Friday afternoon about 6 weeks ago. It has been awesome! We have been thrilled at some of the progress he is making, and also for the chance to give him his own "big boy" time, and special time with Mommy or Daddy. We take turns taking him, and we always go to lunch at McDonalds afterwards. The program he is in also participates in a yearly event called Operation Challenge. They invite people with special needs and their entire families up to the rodeo grounds and give them horse rides, free hot dogs, a cute petting zoo, and the chance to see what the people in horse therapy do each week. We had such a great time!!! All three boys rode horses, and enjoyed the warm afternoon. As you'll see below, there are no pictures of Noah and Jonah riding, since Matt was on the back of Noah's horse with him, and I was riding with Jonah. Made it a little hard to get pictures. Caleb got on before each of us, and even got to ride a second time, so there are more of him. We have Polaroids of each of the boys taken by a volunteer at the event, so once I get my scanner fixed, I can post those. I wouldn't hold my breath, though. You may have a better chance of coming over to see them. ;o) Anyway, it was a great afternoon, and wonderful experience for all of us.

Favorite Color
Caleb, (4): "My favorite color is my red froggy shirt."
Yep. If you scroll down just a bit, you'll see him wearing his "favorite color" shirt while showing off his Potato Head creation. He loves this shirt. He'd wear it every day if I let him. The other day I said that it was dirty, and he said "Mama! Wash it please!" This is my apology to his future wife. By the time he gets to you, my Dear, he'll know how to wash his own froggy shirt. ;o)
