ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!

I was getting the twins ready for their nap...

Mommy: Okay Guys, time to head downstairs and get ready for nap.

Noah(2): Noah wants massage and milk.


(Personally, I'd settle for just the nap. But, since he mentioned it, a massage and a glass of wine would be nice.)

On Ageing...

All the boys love looking at their baby pictures. As we were looking through Caleb's albums the other day, we came across pictures of his first birthday...

Caleb: That's Caleb! I was one!

Mommy: Yes! And now... Your FIVE!

Caleb: Caleb's old.

First Signs Of Spring

Lea

Yes, different spelling, but like the princess. ;o) Lea, regardless of what Matt will tell you, is a member of our family. The boys adore her, and she adores her boys! Even Matt. Which is beyond me, because he is the last one to give her affection, and yet she seeks him out and is very protective of him. For example, if Matt is sleeping in, she will sleep by the door until he gets up, and sometimes will cry outside the door until I let her in to sleep on the floor by his side. She'll camp outside the bathroom as he showers. It's so funny... But the other boys, she adores just as much. The boys do all the things that they say to never let kids do to dogs... pull on her, jump on her, take her bones...etc. She has such a sweet nature, and just loves them so much, she just takes it like a champ. She'll treat them like her puppies and nudge them away if they start to bug her. But all in all, I think she loves getting to play with her puppies. I am so thankful to have such a loving dog for the boys!!!

Fun with Daddy

Wrestling, playing, riding the "Daddy Horsey", all these terms are used for the loving abuse Matt takes nearly every night as he plays with the boys! We have a blast! And, if Matt is lucky, they will "surf" on his back just right, to give him a, sort of, massage... ;o)

After indulging in my Saturday sleep in, I came upstairs in my pajama shorts, and shirt...

I Wonder If

Once home and in bed after our wonderful meal out, and eating a sickening amount of food:

Matt: Ug... I wonder if this is how really pregnant women feel when they can't find a comfortable position to sleep in.

Christine: I wonder if you would survive saying that to a pregnant woman...
